budgie joy

who knew that parakeets could eat millet that was HOT GLUED onto sticks?
who knew that parakeets were hungry enough to eat millet hot glued onto sticks ALL day long?
who knew that parakeet nostrils are called cere? (wait? who knew they even had nostrils at the non pointy end of their beak?)
who knew that a room full of parakeets could be so charming, enchanting and joyful?
who knew that i'd have a mad desire to paint birds?

Awww, how sweet! Love the last pic. Even makes me want to paint. I can't believe they aren't affected by the glue! What a wonderful activity to do with kids.
