hooray for sunny days ... rain yesterday, rain tomorrow, but hooray for today .... i went to pottery and had a very productive time ... one of the kilns was broken so i didn't pick up and glaze as much as i planned ... but that just means i had time to start more pieces ....
i made four pieces .... the two above are slab rolled platters, white clay, with blue swirly underglaze ....
the picture above is a white clay bowl that i lightly underglazed in blue ... and then swirled in black ....
and then this last one is a picture of my work space ... if you go over to flickr right here you can roll your mouse over the picture and read all sorts of notes and commentary ....
