lists and lists and lists ....

over there in artsyville, it is list tuesday .... i always have lists, so on tuesdays i try to use nicer handwriting that usual ... i like to keep my lists in a journal, so that i'll have them forever ... but the problem with that is that then my giant journal of list fabulosity is sitting on my kitchen counter all the time ... and when it is there, i put other things on top of it ... so, i'm trying to be about toss away lists ... but maybe i should just tape them into the journal later .... or not ... recycled they shall be ....

this is little.e.beck.artists list for thanksgiving dinner .... that apple didn't fall far from the tree .. she is the definition of a mini-me ....
that handwriting at the bottom is mine ... when i realized i had to feed all these people on days besides thursday!

here are all of today's lists ...
yesterday i actually had two grocery lists ... one for publix ... and one for costco .... it's tricky though ... costco grapes are superb .... and their wine and soda prices can't be beat .... but don't try to pick up your fresca there, they don't have it ... hence, the need for that far right note, the third grocery list ... for today ... to pick up all the things i forgot, gave up on, or realized i needed ....

so here are closeups of my two big lists of the day .... all that really matters is that i'm good to go for dinner tonight, with the first set of visitors here ......
i'm doing five, trying to fit in six, and putting off 8 til tomorrow (or maybe tonight if i get fidgety ) ... i spent about an hour playing mario karts on wii with my kids ... that wasn't on the list, but it will be on tomorrow's list!

so that's my thanksgiving pre-prep ... rah! ... hope your holiday plans are shaping up ...

I make lists and then forget to take them with me when I go shopping. Not helpful, that.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

me, i'm a sticky note girl. i make my to-do lists on sticky notes. which means i tend to have one item per note. which means i can then feel like i seriously accomplished something when i am finally sticky-note-less. which is rare. you are do darn organized. happy thanksgiving to you and yours. i'm finally catching up on blogs!

Howdy,
Your shopping lists are neat.

But we don't even do handwritten lists anymore.

Entered everything into MS Excel spreadsheet, and then sort by store, by aisle, by item. Print out list and take it on a clipboard. We've made shopping into a military operaton! We only go once a week - there are 2 of us.

Would love for you to stop by my blog when you have a moment or 2!
Hope this helps.

Peace,
LuLu
