on saturday, little.e.beck.artist and i totally cleaned up the basement .... that includes the art studio, the sitting room, the christmas wrapping paper, dress up clothes, and incredible amounts of mess ..... we even re covered the work tables with fresh paper .... and immediately felt compelled to deface it with doodles ....
i have two paintings started (nearly finished) ... one a commissioned piece, the other a donation for an auction .... and i have a couple at the beginning stages ....
and today? no art... just craft ... at sunday school this morning, my fourth graders made god's eyes ... do you remember those? did you make them at camp when you were little? the kids loved it ... loved it so much that it will probably be part of next week's lesson too ....
tomorrow i plan to finish one painting, maybe two .... with my plan being three completed this week ... do you have an artsy plan?

Oh yes, I remember God's Eyes. Made a few of those back in the day.

Don't we always have artsy Plans, some of which go unrealized? I certainly do! this week it is Kanuga prep...got photo copies made this am.....guess we will be doing transfers.Next is sorting through the collage papers that litter the studio and deckiding which and how many to take with me...might need a truck!! You kids all diod the God's eyes, but I do not think I ever did! Still run across one here now and then!
Yes, I remember making them years ago...too many~! it's always fun to turn to crafts when your muse isn't ready to finish or start a project. I have days when I just want to do something fun, and light...Blessings to you dear..love the colors you used in your "God's Eye"!!!
I'll be out of town a lot in April so I'm trying to finish up projects this month. I just completed some postcard houses (on blog) and buntings (on blog monday) and am not working on 2 Raven altered Journals I need to finish and pass on.
Have a wonderful artsy weekend!
