42 and 43

i've just finished two more canvases ....
numbers forty two and forty three for the year ....

i'm kind of in a happy rut .... exploring themes i've been doing in excess ...
....i have some other notions swimming around in my head ... and i'm working on a commission piece .... and i just painted vast amounts of orange papers today ..... so .... there's a large orange canvas in my immediate future, i suppose ....
i adore orange ..... it's right up thee with green .... and turquoise .... ok.... and yellow ....
what's your favorite color ... and is it a color you tend to use a lot in your art? in your life?

my favorite color is bright and vivid. I've been keeping up with your canvases. They are great.

holy smokes! nearly 50 and the year hasn't even reached the half way point - I am SOOOO impressed ... and would like to borrow your motivation for a month or two. :) are these 12"? I love the branch with the dangly hearts very, very much. your nests are all really terrific, two.

i tend to gravitate towards blues, greens and purples, but my last two paintings I stuck to yellows, oranges and reds ... plus my traditional black. :)

ps - glad the bubby memory made you giggle.

third eye, these are SMALL ... just six inches square .... i used to only do big and bigger ... but have found i have quicker sales if i had small available .... i used to HATE small canvases, but now i quite like them and and am finding bigger canvases to be harder .... i guess it is all what you get used to .....

Oh, happy ruts are such nice things to be in! =)

I love your themes - I get going with themes, too, but not quite as prolifically as you!

I am a warm, bold color girl - although in recent months I've been drawn to blues, greens, reddish-purples - not my favorite colors, but colors that are speaking to me right now.

I love your nests!
