i think i mentioned elsewhere, use a flash to get a good sunset shot, esp with something in the foreground.
i do love watermelon, but must remember not to eat it so late in the evening...

we played it mellow, hung with the fam, ate lots of yummies and left just in time to catch the fireworks ... most excellent.
That IS an amazing pic. We celebrated pool side, lounging and floating and slurping cold drinks with friends, then off to a rooftop for the fireworks display.
methinks you have a talented little photographer on your hands. :-)
What a great photo. We were in the mountains and ate a late dinner out on the deck followed by drinking wine and watching the stars come out.
