I adore pears. I was so excited that our 3 pear trees were loaded with fruit, and in a week or so I would reap the harvest...until, in the dark of night, the raccoons ate EVERY SINGLE PEAR. They did not leave a core.

Next year, I will spend the last week of pear season in the orchard, with a shotgun.

The blue one is my favoritest pear ever! My grammy and grampa had a pear tree, and whenever we went to their house, we'd walk up the hill to the door right past a big fat pear tree! Too bad I hated pears as a kid...

These are really good. You have captured the different shapes they have. I too like the blue one, especially with the others.

I love pears, especially in salads.
I do a salad with mixed greens, a little romaine, sliced pears, cranberries, the sweetened pecans from Trader Joe's and a little blue cheese. Trader Joe's balsamic dressing is great on this.

I don't much care for pears for eating. However, they are lovely and they also seem to go over well as a dinner party dessert, so I am friends with them.

Yours are so cool. And the COLORS!! good work. You always use pears well in your art.
