fourth day in a row of bloggage .... hold your applause ... really ... oh ... thank you thank you ... and a blog giveaway ....

yes!
four days in a row of bloggage ... rah!

day one ... cathy was the comment question winner ... and her artful delight is in the mail ...
day two ... chris .. send my your addy ...
and....
drum roll ... liesel ..... thanks for playing and your random artsy something or other will be heading your way ....

today ... day four and the final day of our bloggy giveawayness of random artsy joy ... all you have to do is leave a comment ... preferably a question and you will be in the random commenter drawing ... you can't win if you don't play ...

and on to the art portion of the art blog ....

did you read yesterday's post? were you waiting? holding your breath?

wait no longer ... here's the painting ....
the photo i showed you yesterday seemed too stark .... so .... i added some color all over ... i oranged up the house .....toned down the colored tissue spots ... and added on a swedish proverb since the foreground seemed to need more texture ... and given the choice of drawing grass and flowers or shopping my groovy quote library for the perfect verbage texture, i chose the latter .... talk less, say more ... i'm working on that ....

happy weekend to you ....leave a comment ... i'd love to send you the fourth and final piece of artsy random joy ...

I looked at yesterday's post, and I totally agree that the door belongs on the right! I wonder why that is...

I love your art, Elizabeth - it's a perfect representation of you - happy, colorful, positive! Sara has a piece that we got in the silent auction on her wall and it makes me happy every time I see it!

how appropriate-a Swedish proverb.

Thanks so much! I really liked the end result and the proverb. You really don't talk too much(and neither do I)

This has turned out great! Love the colors and the quote. Have you ever taught an on-line workshop?

Funny...the previous house does look backwards even though it was the original. I really like this!! :-)

thanks everyone ...

sharon, no, i've never taught an online workshop ... i don't even know how to go about that ....

i would like to teach real life workshops ... but am kind of bogged down in everything else and never acted on it ...

From you profile, I see we are alot alike; ie. the mediocre housekeeper and queen game player. Laundry though I adore! I love hanging laundry..it is the highlight of the summer season...I just can't wait for nice weather to hand stuff and in the winter I hang things on a rack to dry over the furnace vent. Other than that we're the same...you are cuter too. Do you like scrabble? I use to be scrabble queen around here, but my best buddy is on meds now from back surgeries and she's sort of messed up and I don't play her anymore...it's too painful ouch!

Ohhh, what a beautiful house drawing! Would love to be in your drawing if it isn't too late?

Have any new art ideas you've been playing with? I always like to see what you create.
