why will these two photos not turn? and one does ... they will not save the right direction ... how ornery can a computer get?
so ... here are three photos of three platters ... two might give you a crick if you need a proper look see ....
this top one is 14 inches ... speckled clay ... greenish blue in coloring ....
this one is my favorite and i wish i was going to keep it ... the letters are shiny black and the rest is mat slate black .... and you know how i am about lettering .... i actually made more like this today .... this one is 10 inches across ....
... and this one is gloss black and slate combo ... ten inches across ... all are being donated to an auction for emmaus house .... i do a week of camp with emmaus house each summer ... usually as a story teller and an art teacher .... here's a good blog post about it from a couple summers ago ...

Oh yes, the one with the letters is worthy of repeating. They are all nice. Hope they raise lots of cash for the auction.
