it is the very, very beginning of august and i so love summer and want it to last forever and yet it feels like our summer days are waning into school

ok ... i did it ..... in a reasonable amount of time, no less ..... this piece started life like this .... and now has become three happy hearts ..... all because i'm lucky enough that my kids and i are having one of the summer weeks that is FAB, fab, fabulous ..... not too many commitments .... and even though we had a whole morning of school errands, back to school type things, we still had an arty afternoon ...... tra la la ......i wish it were always summer ..... don't tell my kids .... have to send out positive school vibes ... but wow summer is the good, easy life .....
.... and this piece was a lovely background that has been in my studio for EVER ..... in fact, i just looked it up .....i did it in october last year ....nearly a year ..... i did it at the same time i did this delicious piece ... but .... as usual ..... i made an extra background .... can you see the resemblance and ...whaddaya know ? .... i didn't do anything with it ....but it sure did make today easier ...... i was rummaging .... i do that a lot .... i was rummaging through my mess ...i mean, my studio ....saw this background might work for what i had in mind and ... then ended up doing something else all together ...... i have too many ideas zinging around in my head that i couldn't even keep up ..... anyway .... i had some words i was going to add to this ...real words, not jumbled letters.... but somehow was struck by the simplicity of this .... don't know if it is done or not .... time will tell .......
