last post, no pics ....
this post, plenty o' pics .....
but you get the idea ... until tomorrow .....
allison was over to paint today ..... and cheered me on as i finished my giganto canvas ..... when that was done and drying, i pulled out fifteen six inch square canvases .... and covered them in maps ......
then i glazed them with a couple different yellows, dry brushed with some heavy body turquoisee .... and stenciled them with a light yellow ... in a (loud) moment of inspiration, i shouted out to al that OH i'm going to do a branch series .... so these fifteen paintings will have branches .... and things that go with and on branches .....the backgrounds probably need another layer or two or three of something or other ...... and then i'll start with the foreground .....

You're a brave women to do such a large piece!! I have a large canvas and am about to bring home 3 more I bought at a good deal but it's almost intimidating to start working on a large piece.
I love the technique you've utilized to do the 13 canvases--what an efficient and inspirational way to do your work!
