mother's day

i made this in 2005 .... i thought about it this evening because i read it to littlest.beck.artist..... i have one hanging in each of my children's rooms ..... i wrote it, made it for my own kids, then made loads of them to sell .....

then...i read donna's blog over at mice and moonbeams and she was asking about ideas for canvas boards ... i used to drill holes in them and string on ribbons and charms ....or wires, charms and beads .....

then i thought ...... i've spent the weekend in the mountains with my family and not done any art .... so this would certainly be an appropriate pic for a mother's day blog .....

happy mother's day to you or to yours ....

did you have a great day? i did!

This is precious!

Thank you for the idea of drilling holes...I think I'll try that rather than the frame - but I WILL make frames some other time - just so I can use my miter box! =)

Hope you had a beautiful Mother's Day!

see you there! said...

Your kids received a true treasure from you. I think it is just wonderful.

Good idea for hanging it up too.
