two finished paintings .... both gifted away today .....
that's the nicest bit about my artsiness and my craftiness!! the ease of gift giving!!

i'm watching american idol right now ... it is great .... my two favorite moments are david cook with zz top ... (i had a hard time explaining zz top to my kids!) .... and david cook in the guitar hero commercial .....

i'm off to itunes ..... to browse zz top .... what music do you listen to .... i'm taking reccomendations ....

Hi e, it's m.

I need to buy some of your art...I think it would make me happy. :) I need happy.

ZZ Top would be difficult to explain. I had to explain Alice Cooper. Oldest's school librarian is named Alice Cooper and she is this older, very school marmish old lady...it just cracks me up that her name is Alice Cooper. So we saw Alice Cooper on TV and I called DD in to see it. She just stares at the TV and says "that's a GUY".

yes!!! on the david cook moments that is. i was trying to explain zz top to my daughter by saying it was the group who did the song daddy sings about "they got a lot of nice girls down there, a hey, hey, hey". we both loved cook in risky business role, but archuletta (in his boxers), um NO!

i'm so happy cook won! couldn't believe it! he was humbled, I thought.

billy gibbons, the ZZ Top guitarist, used to be in a band called Moving Sidewalks, out of houston ... my husband saw the sidewalks play at his high school auditorium. coolio, huh?

These are SO gorgeous.

I don't listen to much music lately, but I'm a rock/grunge/punk fan.

Love these paintings!
