JOY post 11 ...
today's joy: sunday school this morning was super .. my favorite kind of sunday in fact: one of the teenaged teachers did the teaching ... i had no responsibility ... well, i did actually, i passed out snack .... the story was the annunciation ... when mary was told by an angel that she was having a baby ... after reading the bible, we always go around and everyone says what part stuck with them, or made them think, or was intriguing ... one boy said, it just cracks me up that angels show up and say FEAR NOT ... and you know whoever is looking at that angel is like, no (and the boy fell off his chair being fearful) i'm fearing, how can you see an angel and not freak out? .... so, the discussion got around to, if you think you see an angel, and it doesn't start the conversation with FEAR NOT, then it probably isn't an angel ...
preparation: i made some more christmas ornaments today .... i wrapped a few gifts .. my sweet mr.e.beck.artist cleaned the basement and found a hidden gift!! so i had to rehide ....
serenity: sundays have more serenity than other days .... my sunday school class of fifth graders are so awesome .... it kind of blows my mind how grown up they can be .... and how sweet and dear ...
