two

in my quest for 100 canvases this year ....
i am on number two ...
such momentum! ...
can you stand it?
and i going too fast for you?
whew ...
i think i might need to take a break ......
i'm not used to working at this pace .....
or not .....

at this rate, one a week, i'll be hitting fifty or fifty two .... ack! ... fifty cause i know i won't be completing any at christmas time!

alas, i need to get it in gear ... but while i look for that momentum, that drive, that quicker clip that i need..... let me tell you about this one... this two, actually.....

this is a tall skinny canvas with cool papers in the background ..... turquoise and blue glazing ..... dark yellow letter stencils ..... and one iconic heart blowing in the breeze ... suspended from the branch.... waiting for someone to come by and pluck it off .... some people wear their hearts on their sleeves .... some people hang them out in the breeze, free for the taking .... available to all ..... you can read a bit more about it on my flickr site ....

how 'bout you? are you a heart on your sleeve type? or do you keep it tucked away in your pocket? out in the breeze? tucked in a drawer?

Lovely painting, that number two... Guess I'd have to say I keep my heart in my pocket, but I pull it out and hang it on a special chain every once in a while....

looking great e
and I am an on my sleeve gal I would say -- and usually my heart has a smile on it

just remember that when he you some smaller art you can do 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 in a day --- I have seen that from you in the past
keep plugging away

I'd have to venture that I am the heart hanging in the wind sort, try as I might to change it. Lovely piece of art.

I gave my heart away to a tall, dark and handsome stranger years ago. He still has it and hasn't broken it in all this time.

I really like your image, the way you broke up the canvas with the horizontal branch and the vertical heart on a string.
