zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......

happy new year ......
we had a new year's evening filled with food and friends and fun ..... around about 10 o'clock sweet sophie went from cuddled next to me to sprawled over me .... getting heavier and heavier as she fell deeper and deeper into sleep ..... i woke her and said, let's go home ... no mommy, i was awake ....i'm just resting ..... no baby, you are asleep, let's get you home to bed ...no mommy, we are supposed to stay up ..... so..... we went outside with our second wind and did sparklers ....... ten kids or so ..... then went inside to watch the tv count down .... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz .... i'm thinking i'm middle aged, cause those minutes leading up to midnight are getting looooonger and looooooonger! ...... we did actually make it to midnight .... with horn tooting and kissing and such ......

did you celebrate the last day of 2007?
did you have a resolution last year?
was it successful?
do you have a resolution for 2008?
how are you going to make it happen?

here's wishing you and yours a joyful 2008 .... full of all the things that make you happy ....

happy 2008 ....

Happy New Year! We didn't stay up 'til midnight! Can you believe that? I always stay up! I was so tired, I just wanted to sleep! Nothing new for '08, just keep on playing and having fun, that's my goal!

It's true, those last few minutes are getting slower and slower. Amazingly, my girls had no problem staying up, but were ready to drop not much later (after we had a good ol' tickle fight, that is.) Happy 2008!

we stayed up -- well can't account for one girl -- she is in FL
but we toasted and kissed and really just enjoyed friends

last year my resolution worked out pretty well -- to let the people I care about most know that!

got a new resolution this year -- to make lots of hand knit gifts for my friends for next christmas

And to answer your question...I'll probably have stretches where I post every day, but I won't stress over it if I don't.

Of course, I might just get so good that I post MORE than once a day. Wouldn't that blow people's socks off! ;)
