... and now i have an idea ... better thought out than most of my ideas .....

and my big idea now .... is to have another blog contest .....
mostly, just because i liked the last one ....
but partly because i PASSED my 200th posting without even NOTICING ... how can that be?

so ....
the history:
a few weeks ago i did the norcross art show and sold fewer than 20 prints ....in 2 days ..... i was happy to sell any ..... so the fifteen or 18 or so felt great ..... i really don't know how many i sold .... more than 10, fewer than 20 .....
then, last weekend ...... at a one day art market, i sold 28 prints .....
so .... why did i sell more at a shorter event?
i don't know ... and i have some hypotheses, but, too dull probably for anyone but MOI .....
so.....
this weekend, the show is SHORTER still ..... just six hours long i think ..... and it is a market .... and i think MOST vendors there won't be artist booths .... does that give me a better shot or a worse shot of selling as many as last time ... as many as the time before? ... fewer than that? or could i even break 30? well, at this point who knows ...... that's the contest .... making your educated guess ....
the only variable i haven't discussed is that this show is at MY church .... across the street from MY house ... at MY kids' school .... so... chances are good that i'll know a few people there!! mabye even everyone ...ha! ......does that hurt my selling or help? again.... we can't know ....yet .... and that's why we are having this little blog contest .....
